I am a genealogist and family historian, based in Northamptonshire. This gives me easy access not only to my local archives but also to the major libraries and archives in London. I am experienced in researching cases at these major archives as well as some lesser known ones. These include the National Archives and Society of Genealogists.

I undertake a wide variety of family history research projects, from building your initial family tree back 3-4 generations to more specialist cases. My research has delved into family mysteries, brought family stories to life, and even found family across the Irish Sea! As part of my services, I have carried out extensive Irish research and have connections in Ireland that enable access to locally held documents.

You may not know anything about your ancestors, but starting a family tree from scratch sounds daunting, especially if you have no previous knowledge or relatives to ask the relevant questions. Starting from you and working backwards, I get to the root of your family tree, discovering your ancestors and producing your pedigree (family) tree.
Genetic Genealogy
You may which to find out your ethnicity and where you come from, or discover more of your genetic family by taking a DNA test. As a trained genealogist, I help with both obtaining a test and then interpreting the results to unlock your family’s genetic story.

You may have lost contact with a relative and now wish to try and find them again, or maybe you wish to discover biological family. I can help with tracking them down via a range of modern resources, providing a fresh set of eyes and knowledge of other places to search.
